Mr. Sohn (the Secretary to Mayor Cho) has confirmed that Mayor Cho is requesting a demolition order of the Auction House! Only the Mayor has the authority to make this order. It will take 30 days to implement but Nami may have pulled off a Christmas miracle!

This horrible place used to send 200 dogs per day Mon Wed Fri, average 600 dogs per week to slaughterhouses.
I assure you its is going to be a history.
Auction house scene yesterday. All the signs put up by them has taken down by the City. Its quiet but do hear dog barking behind the wall.
Mr.BJ Kim, the man of Agricultural Dept. confirmed that mayor Cho called for a meeting sitting with the owner of the auction house and police chief to discuss how to demolish.
We've been pressing the City hard, will be out to the City Hall again today. Government did not allow more than ten protesters we will be restricted to five. Social distancing has been upgraded and the city may not give us the permit by early January if continue to spread.

Thank you all for writing email to them. Mr.Sohn, chief secretary to mayor Cho has received more than 1,000 emails. His email is full. Mr.Sohn was saying he did receive some wonderful special emails from three of you "A sweet home with a dog". Thank you all. He hates it when I am standing there with the sign. The plan of demolition is out but the auction house is asking for compensation.

South Korea’s largest dog meat auction has shuttered its operations, following a Lady Freethinker (LFT) undercover investigation and relentless protesting from partner organization Save Korean Dogs.
The Nakwon Auction House is now closed, and all of the dogs have been removed from its premises, officials with the city of Namyangju said via press release.
Mayor Cho Kwang-han also emphasized that the city will immediately crack down on any additional illegal activities, should they arise.

Among all the offcials from agriculture/livestock dept, construction dept, legal dept, industry dept, land dept, environement department, environment was the most cooeperative. I thanked Mr.Kim who went out to inspect the dog auction site and took immedicate action issuing the fine ticket. They needed to see the petition with over 40K signatures.
We might as well do more taking this opportunity. Nami made a special request for a list of illegal dog farms, dog slaughterhouse within the city. I believe there are more than 100 illegal operations. The three hour meeting was productive.
